Volunteers
We always welcome new faces. Some of our volunteers help out for a few hours a month and some manage a few hours a week. Any help is greatly appreciated. We need volunteers for many different tasks, including emergency rescue pick up of cats and kittens from shelters, driving cats and kittens to and from the vet, cleaning cages, socializing adult cats that are shy and kittens that have had little human contact, and setting up and participating in small local adoption events.

We are also in desperate need of FOSTER HOMES. If you have room in your life to provide temporary care and housing for a cat, or litter of kittens, please contact us. The foster parents are not responsible for finding adopters, but for providing care until the cats/kittens are deemed ready for adoption. If you love cats, and want to help, fostering is very fulfilling and you will literally be saving lives, as we are forced to turn down the shelters when asked for help when all our foster homes are full.

Monetary Donations
Every dollar that is given to Rosebud is used for the direct care of our cats and kittens.

We use your donations to purchase food and litter, vaccines, microchips, and many different medications. Your donations pay for veterinary care, such as x-rays, hernia repairs, ultrasounds, tooth extractions, and countless other procedures. In addition we use your dollars to advertise to find good, quality homes for our cats. Unlike some other charitable organizations, we can honestly say every penny goes for the direct care of the animals; we have no "paid volunteers" or paid administrative positions. We are truly all volunteers.

If you are able and would like to help us continue saving lives, please contact us about donating. You donation is fully tax deductible, as we are a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt charitable organization.

Non Cash Donations
If you would like to help with non cash donations, we can always use food and litter, and other items from time to time, such as scratching posts, beds, etc. We can also use towels and washable blankets that are in good condition. Please contact us if you would like to provide any of these items and we'll tell you what we are currently in need of.
